What reviewers say
2024 ELAN RIPSTICK 94 W BLACK EDITION SKI REVIEW
Matt McGinnis · 6 Feb 2023
Elan upgrades their women's all-mountain model with QuadRod carbon reinforcement, delivering dampness and power comparable to metal-laminate skis while staying exceptionally light. The ski combines damp high-speed stability and potent edge bite with quick turn transitions and pop off features. It offers aggressive, advanced female skiers a balanced mix of precision, playfulness, and confidence in diverse conditions.
“Achieving an ideal blend of stiffness and strength while keeping weight to a minimum” (Matt McGinnis)
Reviewer (advanced): The ski combines damp high-speed stability and potent edge bite with quick turn transitions and pop off features. For an intermediate skier: on the limit (69%); the ski's full grip is 98%; at 35° edge this level reaches 88% of the angle it needs, and about 80% of body weight gets onto the edge
