Affiliate disclosure

The short version

If you follow a link marked as a shop or retailer link and buy something, the shop may pay us a commission. It does not cost you anything extra. We say so next to the link, in plain words, every time.

How we label links

• Each commercial link carries a label beside it (for example “We may earn a fee if you use this link”) and the notice on the page points here.
• Links to shops and boot fitters go through our own address (/go/…), which records that a click happened and sends you on. They are marked rel="sponsored" for search engines.
• A boot fitter or shop we list with no commercial arrangement is listed without a commission label, because there is none.

Commission never decides what we recommend

Which shops and fitters we show is decided by relevance: does it fit your ski, your cause, your region. Commission rates are not an input to that ranking, and a test in our code checks that changing a commission does not change the order. Reviews and explanations are written without regard to who pays us.

What we log

When you click, we log that the click happened, which offer and which page it came from, and the country. We do not log your IP address, browser details, cookies or account. More in the privacy policy.
