Not medical advice
Edge Lab is about how skiing feels and why. It is not a health service.

Pain or injury? This tool is for how skiing feels, not medical advice. See a physio.
What the site does
You tell us what you feel on the hill (quads that burn, skis that lock up, a sore shin). The model suggests mechanical causes, such as stance, boot fit or ski choice, and shows the physics behind them. We record what people feel. We never advise on a health condition.
What it does not do
- It does not diagnose an injury or an illness.
- It does not tell you to start, stop or change any treatment or exercise.
- It does not replace a doctor, physiotherapist, boot fitter, ski technician or instructor.
If something hurts
Pain, swelling, numbness, a joint that gives way, or anything that does not settle after a day on snow: stop skiing and see a physio or doctor. The same goes if a result here points to something that sounds like a body problem rather than a gear problem. When you save a symptom report we show this reminder again.
Your symptom reports
What you tell us about how you feel is health information. We keep it only with your consent, private to you by default, and you can export or delete it whenever you like. The details are in the privacy policy.
