Best skis for a over 110 kg advanced on hard snow

How we chose

We ran the Edge Lab model for a 120 kg advanced skier on icy, hard snow, the middle of the over 110 kg band. It works out carve radius, edge hold and float for every eligible ski (395 of 739 in the catalogue), then ranks them. We then apply a stated preference for hard snow: a category that suits the snow, a waist window and a cap on how much float can count. Kids’ skis and skis too short for the over 110 kg band are left out, and touring and park skis only appear on pages that ask for them. These are the best available in our catalogue today, in that order, not ours.

Reviewers like you count for more: a tester within 10 kg of 120 kg and at the same ability moves a ski up further than one who is neither. 4 of these picks have reviews so far, 0 with a tester within 10 kg.

Shops never change the order. Where a number is our estimate rather than the maker’s, it says est..
