What reviewers say
2025 Atomic Bent Chetler 120
Atomic's redesigned Bent Chetler 120 focuses on eco-friendly construction while preserving its hallmark deep-snow performance. It remains exceptionally agile and buoyant for a wide model, drifting smoothly through turns without catching. However, the lightened, lower-impact internal build sacrifices firm-snow performance, requiring soft snow to feel fully settled.
“none of the core changes have diminished that essential aptitude.”

Bob St.Pierre & Jeff Neagle · 25 July 2024 · 184 cm tested
Atomic updates the Bent Chetler 120 by removing carbon, beefing up the wood core with ash, and refining its 3D HRZN Tech tips and tails. Testing in Vermont and deep Utah powder revealed exceptional surface flotation, nimble pivoting, and a highly playful nature ideal for freestyle-oriented powder skiing. While it lacks firm edge grip and high-speed stability through heavier crud, it excels at effortless drifting, buttering, and maneuverability in soft conditions.
